Leonardo Di Lorenzo, MMUS
A Londoner since 2005, Leonardo "Lenny" Di Lorenzo graduated from the Conservatory Of Music “Luca Marenzio” of Brescia (Northern Italy) under the guidance of Maestro Gianluigi Fia (a former pupil of Andres Segovia) and studied composition with contemporary classical music composer Giancarlo Facchinetti.
He attended masterclasses with Oscar Ghiglia and lutist Massimo Lonardi at the International Guitar Festival of Gargnano (Lake Garda, Italy).
At the age of 22, he started working as the in-house composer for Swiss television production company Polivideo SA, and then later worked as orchestrator for British film and television composer Guy Dagul.
He has himself scored documentaries and TV programmes produced by Rai Educational (Italy), PBS (USA), Sky, CCTV (China), TSI (Switzerland) , Focus magazine and Istituto Luce (Italy).
Some of his original instrumental productions are published by the Soho Production Music label and have been featured in shows broadcast by BBC, Channel 4, NOW This, TLC and more.
His original compositions have been performed by himself and others on Jazz FM, BBC London, at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, the 100 Club, the Hippodrome Casino, the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the Teatro Grande of Brescia, the Auditorium Parco Della Musica of Rome and the Blue Note Club Milano.
Before moving to North London and founding London Classical Guitar, he founded the Soho GuitArt Academy in Frith Street, where he taught for 8 years and provided tuition services to private clients as well as the Musica Nova International Music Academy in King’s Cross, the University of Roehampton, the Berkshire Maestros and the Pembridge Hall boarding school in Notting Hill.
He has also been teaching internationally as a visiting lecturer at the music department of Caltech in Pasadena, USA and at the Foundation Patino of La Paz, Bolivia.
Amongst other things, Leonardo is also an established photographer and his Fine Art images are published and appreciated internationally.

Featuring wooden floor, colorful acoustic panels and warm lighting, its atmosphere should make the student and performer feel at ease, relaxed an focused, isolated from the fast paced London life.
